I just saw S. Darko, the crappy sequel to my favorite movie, Donnie Darko. It sucked. Hard. Not only was the plot cookie cutter and really just taking elements from the first movie, splicing it together in an incoherent manner hoping to be “deep” and generate some hidden meaning, but also the acting sucked. If anyone saw the movie, the cop was among the worst actors I’ve seen. Also, there were too many stereotypes being preyed upon. The nerd with glasses collecting meteorites, the nice church woman, the jocks at this guys 4th of July party. It was a load of crap, hot, steamy crap, made simply worse because of the fact that Donnie Darko was the greatest movie ever created, ever. And don’t get me started on the logical fallacies in this movie…
